Thank you so much, for the replies. Searching yesterday, I did find the 1920 and 1930 census pages.
With that information, I did not know how to go about looking for living relatives though. The only, brief, contact I had with the family was the late 1950's to the late 1960's. I know there is a daughter, Ann Marie/Anna Marie?, who does not appear on the 1930 census. In the 60's she had 5 children (all cousins of mine).
I know the families resided in Gary, Indiana at that time.

While searching, I stumbled upon this forum and thought perhaps I might find something here.

I've tried looking at Facebook, but there are a lot of Valenti 's.

If the Joseph Valenti death notice I posted above is indeed Joseph Jr (birth year looks good as does location), then the Lisa Valenti realtor I linked to (same town, outside Gary) may be related to him.
