The Pietrobon & Pantalone Family

Hi,

my name's nadia pietrobon, and i've recently started a search for my ancestors. I dont know much about my great grandparents, but what i do know, is that my grandfather, Carlo Pietrobon, was born in Venice, Italy in 1932 and i think, came to Canada when he was 26.
My grandmother, Concetta Pantalone was born in Rome. She's about 6 years younger... she was born in Rome. she was probably around 19 yrs old when she came to canada.

i know its not much to go by, but they have like 8-10 siblings each, so im gonna have to ask them some questions, but i;d still like to know, if anyone's familiar with or has any information regarding the pietrobon and or pantalone family, i'd love to hear from you.

I believe the birth town is actually PRETORO, Chieti, Italy

As usual people tended to mention big towns as place of birth. Rome and Venice are easier to remember.
As for Carlo Pietrobon is birth town seems Fontana, Treviso.The only place I can think of is Fontane which belongs to the town of Villorba in the province of Treviso, Veneto region. So if you want to find information on your paternal ancestors and siblings you will have to refer to Villorba which is just few miles from Treviso town.
Carlo Pietrobon's mother surname is Povegliano, the two surnames exist in Villorba and nearby towns.
Also, Concetta's mother surname should be Di Florio.

Rino Pietrobon was my paternal grandfather. It looks like Nadia and I may be cousins. The marriage record is to my late nonna Anna Maria Colassante. I’ve been trying to track down Rino’s parents and build a family tree.
