Schavoni family Illinois

I am looking for information about my father's birth mother. I think I found some information in the 1920 census and I want to verify that it is the right woman.
My father was born Feb 21 1949 James Edward Schavoni (adopted name LaSorella). The mother's name is listed as Amelia Schavoni. I found her birthdate 11/3/1909 and death date 1/11/1993. As far as I can tell she lived with her Grandmother, father and siblings according to the 1920 census. Her father Erick Schavoni was 46 and widowed. The adoption records from 1949 will be opened in November of this year but I am not sure what information I will find in them. Looking for medical history as well. If anyone has any information please let me know.

Starting up my search again for relatives of Amelia Schavoni. I have found out new information but still not sure if she is who I am looking for. I thought I would try investigating more of the past (Italy) since I am not finding information in the present (Oak Lawn, IL) I have even tried facebook, however, there are many different spellings of the last name and trying to find current info has been difficult. There was not much information on my fathers original birth certificate. I did find out that he was born at Little Company of Mary Hospital in Oak Lawn IL which is where she appears to have lived and died. I did learn from familysearch.org that she was interred at St. Mary's Cemetary in Oak Lawn and was able to find the grave site address. I have a feeling that she is who I am looking for but I have no proof. I might try going to the Oak Lawn library for more info. Please let me know if anyone has any ideas.
