Tolve Family Information

I am seeking any information on a Gerardo Tolve and his wife Angelina Tolve (I do not her maiden name). The only information I have on them follows:

I believe they were both from Potenza, Italy.
They both immigrated to the United States and lived and died (no dates), in New York City.
They had at least one child, Arcangilio Tolve. She was born in Brooklyn, New York 8 Nov 1881, and died in Denver, Colorado on 7 January 1964. She was married to Carmine Aiello. (You provided information on his ancestry perviously.)

Not much information to go on, but I appreciate any information, leads or directions to seed further information.

I just did some quick looking in Potenza records are you sure Gerardo wife name was Angelina I found a birth record of Angela Tolve (possible daughter)

In the year 1875 Oct 27th In the comune of Potenza appeared Gerardo Tolve age 40(birth abt 1835) farmer and legal wife Chiara Tancredi gave birth to a baby girl named Angela Tolve
I dont know if this is your same Gerardo Tolve do you have a birth date for him?

There are manyTolve in the civil registrations of Potenza town... Considering that Gerardo and Angela stated that they were married since approx. 1868 and that she was mother of 17 children maybe this birth act may be useful:

Birth Act number 74 - Year 1876

Tolve Luigi was born in Potenza on the day 4 february 1876, son of Gerardo Tolve age 30, farmer and of his wife Angela Maria Leopardo farmer:

thank you. Talking to a distant cousin, he said her last name may be misspelled and Leopardo may be correct. I also 'assumed' Angela' was nickname for 'Angelina', but now I see that may not be the case.

As an aside, I went to that one site where you found the information on Carmine Aiello and could never find the same information you provided. I input: last name - Aiello, first name - Carmine, birth place - Cosenza.

Question: when I put 'Italy' after Cosenza, I got no results. Do you just put the province/region and not country?
And must you put birth place?

As an aside, I went to that one site where you found the information on Carmine Aiello and could never find the same information you provided. I input: last name - Aiello, first name - Carmine, birth place - Cosenza

You have to digit just Aiello in Last Name, Carmine in First Name and birth place San Fili not Cosenza (Cosenza is both a town and a province)

Here is the only information I have on Gerardo Tolve:
Born: abt 1846 in Potenza, Italy. (Don't know if that is general province/region, or the city of Potenza.)
Died: before 1920 in Denver, Co (no death certificate found)
Immigrated to the US: abt 1881 (assume New York as they lived there for a while)
Wife: Angelina S. Leopoldi (or Leopardo)
Married: abt 1868


Wife:
Angelina S. Leopoldi (or Leopardo)
Born: abt 1842 in Italy (exact city/town unknown)
Died: unknown (but believe in Denver, Co..no death certificate)
Immigrated to the US: act 1881 (assume New York as they lived there for a while)
Son: Rocco. Born in Italy, but location/date unknown.
Daughter: Arcangilio. Born New York in 1881

Any help greatly appreciated.
