Ciao,
I am looking for information on my Focarazzo relatives. My nonna's maiden name was I think either Focarazzo or Focarazza. Her given name was Angela Rafaella. She was born February 6, 1894 in Foggia and died on September 26, 1991 in Queens, NY. She had 3 sisters: Vincenza, Maria, and Helena. Their brother, Guguliemo died when he was young after being run over by a horse and carriage.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Gianciaruso Domenico Dec 1 1912 1912 (1912) Queens
Fagarazzo Angela R Dec 1 1912 1912 (1912) Queens
the surnames are a bit mispelled, but the record is abt your ancestors marriage..

I believe that also Angela Raffaela coming from Palo del Colle...

Thank you! I am trying to get dual citizenship with Italy and I found research to say that if my Italian grandfather did not become naturalized until after my mother was born, then I can qualify for dual citizenship. I think I need to produce my grandparents marriage license, his birth certificate and death certificate in addition to his naturalization paperwork. Do you know which town they married in - because then I guess I can write to the town for a copy of their marriage license...

Thank you for all your research! I must not have checked off to receive an email notification whenever someone replied to my original post because I just logged on today and noticed these posts...sorry.

I now have to figure out why my grandparents (Domenic and Angela) have their marriage certificate info stating they were married on December 1, 1912 and Ellis Island records show that Angela arrived in NY on December 3, 1912 and listed as single...

I truly appreciate all your help! I would never have found them under the names as they were written!

yes the day of marriage is a bit strange... because Angela arrived on 3 Dec 1912.. maybe the day on marriage record is wrong... who know... no doubts that the arrival is abt your Angela....
