Help with 2 more translations - Carovilli, Molise

Post by jeffsf »

Hi All,

I would like help with 2 more translations. These are the father and grandfather of the last translation I got help with (and would not have found without the help I got on this forum.)

I'll list what I was able to glean from the images, and would love to find out if I missed anything or got anything wrong:

http://www.theyteach.me/Vincenzo_Sferra.jpg
Declared on July 9th, 1841
Commune di Carovilli , Isernia, Molise province.
Born of Angela Mariola, 29 years old and Guiseppe Sferra, 28 years old.
A male baby named Vincenzo Antonio (Sferra)
Born on July 9th, 1841

Declared on April 23, 1823
Born of Lucia Carano age ?? and Salvatore Sferra age 32,
a male baby named Giueseppe Domenico (Sferra)
Born on April 23, 1823

I wasn't able to figure out all the professions.

Thanks so much!
Jeff

Thank you Pippo! I was unable to read Lucia Carano's age at all!
After such a history of peasantry and labor, I can see why my ancestors took the risk of immigrating to the US.

One more related question... Can anyone read the child's name on this record? I think I can read the parents - they look to me to be Salvatore Sferra and Lucia Carano. But I'm not able to read the first name.

Thanks again,
