Looking for info on "Stralli"

Can anyone help? The name is Stralli. He was my great grandfather. Born in 1886 in Villa Rossi Italy. That's all I know.

Thanks for the info so far. Everything helps.My great grandfather was named Angelo Livio Stralli. He was born around 1886 in Villa Rossi. I know he married when he arrived in the US. Not sure of the year. He married Clara Mae Dunlap. I know of at least 2 kids. George McClellan Stroll and Levi Stroll. That's about all I know. I can't seem to find any US records on Stralli. It appears that my great grandfather changed it to Stroll as soon as he entered Boston.My grandfather told me all of this info. last week.

The Family History Center has microfilm for the town of Castelli and these films include records for the towh of Villa Rossi. You can order and rent the film for $3.50 a roll.

Thank you all so much for the help. My grandfather suffered a massive stroke and I can't ask him any questions now. I still going to try to research this. I went to the Italian Origin Search at:

jastroll, my name is john stroll levi stroll jr. was my grandfather im pretty sure we're related! i asked him about his dad many times got few answers! my grandmother remembers him well mentioned last name Stralli did my own search years ago came up with nothing! asked my great aunt and uncle georgine and georgie they said stralli or strollo cant remember which since ive heard both names from many people in my family! they also mentioned a town near milan called vercelli! anyway you seemed to have gotten more info than i did in all the years searching ive done! id like to know though if you dont mind if any of the info you've gotten on this site was helpfull in locating your great grandfather who it seems is also mine! thanx john!

My name is Tammy (Strally) Lyons. I was born in Seneca Falls, NY. I am looking for info on the Strally, Stralli, Stroll, Strolli family as well. My great grandfather George Strally was born in Italy in 1890 and immigrated to the US in 1907. My father told me that George Strally had a brother Levi who lived in PA. I think we may be cousins. I've found records on Antonio Stralli, Alfonso Stralli, Angelo Livio (Levi) Stroll and Giacinto Strolli who I think were George's brothers. I have a cousin who has been to Villa Rossi, Italy near Castelli where he found headstones with the surname "Stralli". Have you found out any new information? I've emailed my cousin and asked him for pictures. If I get them I'll post again and let you know.
