Gulluscio

Post by mgulluscio »

Also spelled: Galluscio

From Cosenza....can't locate grandfather, passenger list to US, John (Giovanni) Gulluscio born 1884, possibly Longobucco,Coenza.

From Acri, can't find Angelina Fusaro, grandmother, passenger or birth, 1892, from Acri.

Thank you everyone for your assistance. I have pursued your information and it means a lot to me. I have now found that grandfather, Giovanni, also had 3 brothers, located one burial site and will continue to look further.

I have been searching in familysearch.org for birth certificate of Angelina Fusaro, approx. 1892, from Acri and no success. Any suggestions?

Thanks again for your assistance. I am happy to report that I've found grandfather, Giovanni Gulluscio, had 3 siblings, Vincenzo, Francesco, & Pietro. I've located B.C. and even found that Pietro is buried in a cemetery near my home. We had never heard about any of them. I found Francesco went from Italy to Ny & then to Argentina. Still haven't found where Vincenzo died or buried. Still researching Angelina Fusaro (Giovanni wife), grandmother, thanks for the manifest info. She got married in Conn., US but her married name should have been Gulluscio & they wrote Golloch on the certificate.

Now trying to find out where great-grandmother, Angela Galati, was born, somewhere in Italy.
