Dante Orsali

Post by MichaelSerchio »

Hi,

I've been looking at the death records for two brothers:

Giuseppe Picchi - died 1881 - https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/T ... 1264953123

Costantino Picchi - died 1880 - https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/T ... 1264953123

I've managed to work out from the records that the parents of the brothers were: Pietro Picchi and Maria Pasqua Orsali.

I note in both records there is mention of a Dante Orsali - I'm trying to work out who this is?
I'm assuming it's a relation of the mother going by the surname. Can anyone offer any advice?

Also, on Costantino's record, there is mention of a Guid(o/a) Sa(r/n)tini? Can anyone offer any advice on who this is? I'm assuming it's not a wife as I believe he is listed as single?

Thank you very much in advance,

Regards,
Michael

There's no mention of a relationship of Dante Orsali to the deceased.
As far as we know, he was just one of the declarers (the guys who went to the Town Hall to declare the death). In the case of Costantino, the other one was Guido Sartini.

The surname is Orzali, not Orsali

Hi,

Thank you for the correction.

Does that apply to the mother, Maria Pasqua ??
