Date of Record: 12 January 1878 Frigento 11.17 a.m.

Appearing was Giuseppe di Avino, 26, farmer, living in Frigento, to declare that at 8.30 p.m. on 10 of the current month at a house in Contrada Cartiglio, No 1, his wife, Rosangela, farmer, gave birth to a male baby who was named Marciano.

Witnesses:
Giuseppe de Leo, 22, Landowner
Giuseppantonio Leone, 21, Landowner

Whoops, that's shorthand-typing for you :) Indeed there was a surname and yes it was Capobianco.

P.S. I wonder if the name was Capabianco originally and your original ancestors who took the name had fair or blondish hair? Just one of my quirky thoughts. Every time I type the name I wonder about this so just thought I would mention it :)
