Marchesi - Basinilli from Sernio?

I am trying to trace family or any information on the region he came from of an Italian emigrant to Australia.
He was Enrico Narciso MARCHESI born abt 1911 son of Domenico MARCHESI and Maria BASSINILLI (from Australian marraige certificate) said he was born Sernio Italy. Arrived Australia 1928. Brother Cosimo Marco MARCHESI arrived Australia 1926, there was also a Giovanni MARCHESI on the same voyage but have not been able to link him to the others yet.
Sister Virgina also to Australia was married to Attillio BERTACCHINI probably in Italy came to Australia circa 1930- 1940
All state the same birthplace Which appears to read SERNIO.
Any help or ideas of would be appreciated as a great grandson is travelling to Italy later in the year.
