Anyone know the correct pronuncation? I've heard a couple things. Not sure which is correct.

richbru is right. Kirillo is the correct pronunciation...

Unless you are writing it phonetically - in which case the 'CH' would be shown thus...Cirillo

Personally, I think that missjessie mean Chirillo pronunciation as CIRILLO in italian(CHEE -REE-LLO).. suanj
PS:
CHIRILLO italian=KIRILLO english
CHIRILLO english= CHEE -REE-LLO ( as italian Cirillo)

Thanks for the replies. Chirillo was my grandmother's maiden name. My mother thought it was pronounced Sha-rill-Oh. But, then I heard Kirillo and Chee-rillo so I wasn't sure. :)

Does anyone know the meaning of the name? I can't find anything on it.

It bears pointing out that speakers of American English pronounce the letter "i" in most cases as they would when referring to themselves with the pronoun, I. So, "ki" looks like ki in kite, that thing that children fly on a breezy day.

In Italian, the letter "i" is usually pronounced as the English long "e": key, cheat, cheese, me, and so on.
