Italian spelling of Christian name

Be grateful if anyone could give me the correct way to spell Christopher in Italian?

My nephew spells it....Christofaro. Not sure if there's another way of spelling it though.

Many thanks Nuccia,
on my dad's certificate it was written down as Crislinzz but I know that probably wasn't the correct spelling, my dad was always known 'Christie' short for Christopher. But I just thought if Ihad the correct spelling I'd maybe have better luck looking up Italian records.

In italian Christopher is
Cristoforo
or
Cristofano (old spelling)
