Debbie,
This is a search site designed by Dr Steve Morse
If you put in the year of arrival, you can use the ship pull down menu
to see what ships sailed.
Should work...

Is this something that your Grandfather said to you?

Or do you have a document that actually states the name of the ship and the date??

Hello,
since I have experienced myself that all the Ellis Island ship manifests are not on line (while I was researching my ancestor ship manifest), I suggest you to contact NARA Archives in Washington DC, request a NARA 81 form, fill out this form, put name of your ancestor, name of ship, and port of entry, and for a fee of about $17-$18 you have the copy of it at your address in a few weeks. It is worth!

No Maria, I wrote once to NARA Archive, using 10 forms for 10 different ports of entry, I just received a negative answer; I also received a negative answer lately from Naturalization record office in Missouri, so Francesco Paolo didn' even apply to become a citizen,
