My grandfather Tito Fanucci emigrated from Toscana in 1907.
From the Ellis Island database, the destination address was listed as his cousin:
Bernardino Pellegrini
Sacramento, California

Re: Pellegrini, Sacramento Callifornia, 1907?
jcsm, The answer to each of your questions is "Yes."
I was beginning a search for any California or Italy connections between Fanucci / Pellegrini families -- with ancestors from the countryside near Pisa and Lucca. My grandfather Tito Fanucci had a cousin named Bernardo Pellegrini.
More broadly, I am trying to fill in missing details on my Italian ancestors, click here -- Fanucci Ancestors, near Migliarino, Pisa, Italy -- to see a template I would like to fill in...
Here's what I already know, so far:
Giuseppe FANUCCI was born ABT 1855 in Italy. He married Amelia BERTOLUCCI ABT 1874 in Italy. She was born ABT 1855 in Italy. They had children born in Migliarino and Vecchiano, Pisa, Toscana.
Children of Giuseppe FANUCCI and Amelia BERTOLUCCI are:
i. Cesare Valerio Romualdo FANUCCI was born 18 Nov 1873 in Vecchiano, Pisa, Italy, and died 11 Mar 1946 in San Francisco, California.
ii. Tito Giacomo FANUCCI was born 11 Jun 1881 in Migliarino, Vecchiano, Pisa, Italy, and died 10 Jun 1951 in , Santa Clara, California.
iii. Carlo (Giuseppe) FANUCCI was born 22 Aug 1890 in Italy, and died 29 Oct 1966 in San Francisco, California.
Maria Jaconda (Gioconda) BERTOLANI was born 27 Dec 1880 in Migliarino, Pisa, Italy, and died 25 Apr 1960 in , Santa Cruz, California. She was buried in Catholic Cemetary, Santa Clara, California.
She married Tito Giacomo FANUCCI 21 May 1906 in Vecchiano, Pisa, Italy, son of Giuseppe FANUCCI and Amelia BERTOLUCCI. He was born 11 Jun 1881 in Migliarino, Vecchiano, Pisa, Italy, and died 10 Jun 1951 in , Santa Clara, California. He was buried in Catholic Cemetary, Santa Clara, California.
Tito had a cousin Bernardo Pellegrini, in Sacramento, California, in 1907 who had emigrated from Toscana to California sometime before 1900.

Pietro Bargellini, Registry Officer (Vecchiano, Pisa, Toscana)

Fanucci Descendants
Perhaps, the next step could be to get all that translated into Italian, to send a letter to the registry office in Vecchiano? (Asking for any more info about Giuseppe FANUCCI and Amelia BERTOLUCCI... Also Maria Jaconda (Gioconda) BERTOLANI...)
Any other ideas?
