I am trying to trace my Italian heritage. My Grandfather was Humphrey Southwell and he came from Filey in Yorkshire, England. His mother was Beatrice Novelli and her father was Philip Novelli and his father was Augustus Novelli. They were a merchant and a doctor respectivly.

I know nothing of my Novelli roots and would very much appreciate any help in tracing them.

I found this 1871 England Cenus with Augustus Novelli listed as a Consulting Physician. He has a son named Phillip listed as well. Their address appears to be 8 Hyde Park, Paddington, London, England.

And Beatrice NOVELLI Southwell 1901 Census with Humphrey Southwell son. When looking at the birthdates and ages, it seems to me that Beatrice is also the child of Augustus as well as her older brother Phillip. Is this possible?
