Cavaliere and Tricarico surnames in San Mauro Forte

Is anyone researching the following names in San Mauro Forte?

Cavaliere
Tricarico
Americo
Urgo
Imperatore

Some of these family members came to New York, USA in the early 1900's.

My brother is hoping to visit San Mauro Forte this fall and I would like to find out as much as possible before he goes.

Hi Vic,

My research relates to San Mauro too, I have both Urgo and Tricarico in my tree. I have a Rosaria Tricarico, b 28 Dec 1870 who is my paternal ggm. Her father was Michele Tricarico b1837, who would be my gggf, and his father was Domenico, my ggggf.

My grandfather Michele Dalaimo, married a Maddalena Urgo.

For your additional info there were two Urgo's....Giuseppe and Matteo and an Imperatore Pietro who all fell during WW2. They were ranked as Privates when they died.
