Hi James and welcome to the forum. Where in Alife? If you can give a town name we can look to see if LDS has any records available.

Hi Jim,
First find the closest Family History Center (FHC) to you. Here is the link.
http://www.familysearch.org/eng/Library ... et_fhc.asp
Next thing is to review the microfilms for birth, death, marriages etc. for the town and/or province you're looking for. I have included two links for Alife. I'm not sure which one you will need. Both links are civil registrations for birth (nati), death (morti), and marriage banns (matrimoni). The years go from 1809 to 1929. Write down the films you'd like to view and go to your FHC to order. The cost is about $5.50 per film and it takes 2 to 4 weeks to get them. You have to view the microfilms at the FHC.
Castello di Alife
Italy, Caserta, Castello di Alife
