I find this interesting b/c I am the godson of an Arthur P. Angelone, who lived from 1911-1978. I don't know as of yet where he came into the States from- however it would have been NY or Philly. He lived in DE and worked for the DuPont family.

Arthur P. Angelone, who lived from 1911-1978

vintagegamer,
Since 1907 won’t work for your godfather‘s manifest…
Are you sure Arthur P was born outside the US?
If you think this may be his family in 1930, perhaps
a search for his parents' manifest (abt 1905 +/-)
may help?
You may also want to start your own post for your
godfather.

Hi, actually yes that is him! He was born in 1912 not 1911, my error! As for his place of birth, I thought it was Italy but I could have been wrong.

vintagegamer,

Its great vj was able to help you. If you would like to start your own post and continue your research you can. If you need any help splitting the thread, or starting a new one, please let us know and we can help.

You may also want to get in touch with the original poster of this thread (if you haven't already) and see if they can offer you any insight on your godfather. You never know...
