Xhilone family from Messina

I am looking for anyone with information on this family.

on ellis island are 3 Xhilone people from Naso town in Messina province...

I have the Xhilone's from Ellis Island and they are all related. I have some other info from the US, but I have nothing connecting them to Sicily yet. I know they were from Messina. The only other info I have is that one of them (in Sicily) murdered the lover of his wife and was put in jail - probably in the late 1800s. I can get his first name, but I don't have it handy right now.

If there was a judge in the cout house that gave a sentece about this murder, it can be found at Messina State Archive

iI find that a surname with the Greek X fascinating..... to have existed for this long time without change is a tribute to ancient history. In the 1930's Mussolini removed all "foreig" references in spelling and I recall seeing an old map where Sciacca (AG) was written as Xiacca which, of course, was changed to Sciacca as it is today. Just a footnote of history here. =Peter=
