Hi, not are records of means this surname, but are various interpretation:
1-Cammarano: means inhabitant of Camarda town in Abruzzo region. Other surname same means are also Camarra...

2-Cammarano: means coming from Cammarano little river, near Carsoli e Pereto commons in Abruzzo region..

3-Cammarano: origin surname from dialect sicilian word "Cammara=room" and Cammarano means in sicilian dialect: assigned to service in room, in italian language"Cameriere= waiter"...

4- Cammarano: means inhabitant of Cammarata town in Sicily..

I do not know which is just interpretation, not there are ancient records for this surname...
