Dear Rosa Bastianini is a variationof the base surname Sebastiani. Carried thru Roman times as Sebastianus and dervied from the Greek language Sebastos which in Italian means venerable. The name was made more popular by the worship of Saint Sebasitan who was martyred under Emporer Diocletian.

Is this a family surname too? Please let me know. =Peter=
