If you don't have copies of this, here is Maria's husband Luigi's Declaration and Petition for Naturalization. Lots of information on the docs in case you need. I noticed that his occupation was fireman--could be a railroad fireman or possibly he worked on a stationary boiler at one of the mines in the area.
