Italian Grandfather Birth Certificate, etc.

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Italian Grandfather Birth Certificate, etc.

Post by emerald »

My grandfather Giobatta Parodi was born in Varazze, Italy in approximately 1898. He came to America in 1923. I would like to obtain a copy of his birth certificate with Apostille, his Italian Passport, and his Naturalization Certificate. Where can I obtain such information in Varazze via mail? Also, were I to visit Varazze, may I obtain such information in person, and from where?

See Comuni.it
Type Varazze into the "Cercha il Comune" box.

It will give you the mailing address/fax/phone for the comune. The specific office you need is the stato civile.

I'm interested in this question also.

Is it possible to pick up the information in person?

Thanks,
