Can anyone help with 1936 passenger lists from the S.S. Rex?
Can anyone help with 1936 passenger lists from the S.S. Rex?
I am trying to find a passenger list showing my father and grandmother arriving in New York aboard the SS Rex. The names are Antonio Carmen De Santis and Pasqualina Mastroberardino De Santis and were from the province of Campobasso and the city of Castelbottaccio. I have been told the arrival date was October 2, 1936. My father would have been age 6 and my grandmother age 32. Thanks for any help.

Re: Can anyone help with 1936 passenger lists from the S.S.
Hi;
My Father, Aunt, Grandfather & Grandmother came to New York on the REX in May of 1936 (the day before the Hindenburg blew up) my Dad recalls seeing it circling Manhattan and hearing on the news that night. I Guess Rex Arrival would have been May 6th, 1937 Family name Smith
any chance someone might have the manifest ?
Thx
