I would like assistance obtaining my grandfather's, Pasquale Cordella, birth certificate. There is one church in the town, St John the Baptist. Is this my best bet?

Misbris the official address is listed in the website mentioned above under Municipio in the website I pointed out whichis the official source for Striano.

May I suggest you go to www.nonsolocap.it and put in Striano, click CERCA and when zip code, town name and province comes up click on Striano and a webpage consisting of the adminsitrative aspects of Striano will appear. Scroll down to MUNICIPIO and that is the address for the Ufficio di Stato Civile. This is the official address and until I receive offical notice from the comune that the address is other than correct it is the address I will use and refer people to for their inquiries. =Peter=
