1948 case

Post by godego »

Hi everyone,
I was wondering if you could tell me whether, in your opinions, if I qualify for a pre 1948 case.
So here is my lineage.
GGM, born in 1912, moved to Australia to marry her husband in the 1930s. They were married in 1937, however her husband had naturalised in AUS 1933, so was now a foreigner. GGF was an italian citizen beforehand. My GM was born 1940. My mother, born 1970, was actually adopted, but it was a closed adoption and therefore my italian GM was only ever listed as her mother. Her father was also born in italy, but naturalised in 1957. He reacquired citizenship but not until 1992, by this time she was too old to have it passed down. I was then born in 1993.

Let me know what you think!
