I am a English speaking Beretta in South Africa..
I am travelling to Italy next week.. while at the Italian Embassy
I was told to apply for my Italian Passport - having such a IT name..

My delema - I need to get my Grandfathers Birth certificate..
he was born on 14th August 1903 in Brusnenego (Piedmonte)
He's name Joseph Micheal Beretta
or Guiseppe Michele Beretta
I do not speak Italian and need help
WHERE DO I LOOK
WHAT DO I ASK FOR
I am willing to pay someone for assistance.. please

Did you get a response from these letters and were you successful in getting the Birth Certificate.

My great grandfather was also born in Brusnengo and I wondered if it was worth write or better to just go there. Being August I suspect that everything would be closed.
