Hello and welcome! :-)

Can you give us an idea of Angelo's approximate year of birth so we can narrow down the search?

Was he traveling with anyone? Did he settle in New Orleans?

Any details you provide will be helpful...

Angelo DiRaimondo/Raimondi (1877-1964)
Family history indicates he came as a stowaway at the age of 14 and worked off his passage as a barber--his father's occupation.

OK...

What kind of records are you looking for? Census, manifest, naturalization?

Yes, SSI correct but I would like to know when he arrived in New Orleans.
Think his sister Concetta Vizzini lived there at that time or maybe later.

Not finding him on a New Orleans manifest.

Since he arrived (by family story) as a stowaway, there might not be a record of him on a manifest.

Are you sure he arrived in port of New Orleans?

On the 1910 Census for Angelo living in Los Animas, Colorado with wife and family, it states that he immigrated in 1885...

1930 Census has him still living in Los Animas, CO, and divorced.

Sergio---thank you for your reply---yes Leonardo diRaimondo is the person I'm looking for. If you could find any other information regarding his family would be helpful.
Sicily is beautiful---spent 2 weeks there many years ago. Some of my husband's family is buried in the Cemetry in Cefalu. Mary Zanolini
