Papa/Delucia/Daddio/Perroti(a)

Post by papaj2 »

I recent started researching my family history, but I'm trying to go back a little further, so I figured I'd post this in the hopes that someone knows more information.

Here's what I have so far:

Domenico Perrotti married to Pasqualina Daddio (both from Benevento)
- Both came to America, Pasqualina didn't like it, Domenico stayed to close their store, but the war started he didn't go back to italy. At some point they reunited and she became pregnant and had a baby (Virginia) in Italy. They then returned to the United States together to live. Had nine children (one being my grandmother). I want to see if i can find out more about Domenico and Pasqualina's parents and extended family.

Nicola Papa married to Philomena (Filomena) Deluca
- Don't know anything about them. I think they were in the Sicily region, but I'm not sure.

All four lived in the New Haven, CT area.

Wow that's amazing how you can find that so easily! That's definitely Nicola. We are from North Haven. Thank you!

Yes I have birthdays that I got from one of their daughters.

These may not be 100% accurate.

That looks like him. My mom thinks that Rafaeline is Guilda's middle name, so all those children match up.

His daughter thought both her parents were from Benevento.

So if I want to find out about Domenico's parents and siblings I have to mail them directly? There's nothing online for Italian records?
