Searching for Vincenzetti

Post by fvincenzetti »

Hello all,
My family came from Italy (town unsure) in the late 1800s and went to London. Their names were Pasqual and Madeleine Vincenzetti. They had their children in London. Their names were Joseph, Marie, and Teresa. Joseph, my grandfather, came to the United States around 1920 and changed his last name to Vincent. From there, we don't know what became of his parents or sisters. We assume they remained in London. If any one has information about any Vincenzetti connections that sound like they might be related, please contact me at ariel1973@aol.com.

Thank you!

It is interesting to note that there are currently 34 cities, towns and villages in all of Italy with persons having the surname Vincenzeti and that the seat of the family surname is in the Marche region oof Italy in the 4 provinces of Ancoa, Ascioli Piceno, Macerata and Pesaro Urbino. Therre are a total of 91 in that region and not all of them are persons but also business and other commercial establishments. If there was someway to trace the Vincenzetti surname thru the british census and come up with a town of origin in Italy you can certainly trace your family back to the early 1800's for sure. Peter
