She said her grandpa is from the town of Elena. I would like to know the name of the province and what would be the cap code for that town so she could request for a birth or marriage record. Thank you

Not having any luck finding town of Elena...

Could it be Sant'Elena?

If yes, there are two possibilities...

# Sant'Elena, province: Padova - region: Veneto (Cap Code 35040)
# Sant'Elena Sannita, province: Isernia - region: Molise (Cap Code 86095)

There is also another option:
the actual town of Gaeta once was named Elena after the Princess Elena:

so maybe it is Gaeta, Latina Province - Lazio region.
