Russo ancestors birth, marriage,death, information

Hi everyone,

I just found this web page yesterday, and I think it is just what I have been looking for. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

I am looking for any information concerning my grandfather and grandmother, and their parents.I have reached a dead end.

I assume they were born in Bauso, Sicily, because my father and his siblings were born there. I could be wrong.

My grandfather, Giovanni Russo was born in July, 28, 1858, Died, August 27, 1933

My grandmother, Rosa (Zoppina last name) Russo was born March 24, 1863, Died, July 27,1942

My father Giuseppe Russo, was born February 20, 1889

My uncle Sebastiano Russo, was born January 20, 1887

My uncle Antonino Russo, was born October 25, 1895

My uncle Mariano Russo, was born October 3, 1905

My aunt Grazia Russo, was born June 24, 1908

There are more, but I don't have the information for them.

Any information about my ancestors will be greatly appreciated. I am also interest in my father's Italian navy records.

the current name of Bauso is Villafranca Tirrena(from 1929)
For to find the civil records of your ancestor, you can search in Villafranca Tirrena civil records by LDS microfilms:

Births, marriages, deaths, banns. Villafranca Tirrena was known as Bauso.
