That makes a lot of sense - I'd live where it was warmer if I could too!
Would Lucia's surname be most likely Grego or Greco?
Thank you!

Wow! Excellent! I think you have both cracked the case! :D
And I will add one more piece of information to top it off.....
Antoinette's 2nd son (3rd child) was named Bennie, possibly aka Benedetto

Hi Valarie, the surname spelling is Greco; searching in Milazzo births I no found a GRECO Lucia birth (no in 1880/1/2/3/4/5)! Maybe Milazzo birthplace is wrong or Lucia was born in Milazzo, but before of 1880..

Fantastic find suanj!
Perhaps she changed her birth date to 1883 when she married Benedetto (born 1885)

Hey suanj :D ,
No doubt you found this one already, I keep coming back to it.
I think this is it.
Not much is correct except Lucia, Maria and Antonietta's names.
Not sure who could have given the information.
I think Benedetto didn't understand much English in 1910, by 1918 he still wasn't signing his WWI Darft Card (in Cook County, IL).

Hi Valarie, me too found this 1910 census.. the daughter's ages matching but born in Italy and imm. in 1905.. I believe that it is the right census, also if it are some discrepancies.. great find the marriage record of Mary Famiglio! both the sisters married in Gary, Lake, IN!

Thank you - Great Teamwork :D !
I've had no luck locating a ship manifest for Giuseppe Famiglio or Lucia Greco.
I suppose they could have arrived separately and married in New Orleans...
Odd that there isn't a manifest for either one since they may have arrived abt 1895-1902?
(I'm guessing Lucia was at least 16yrs)
Big Hug!
