Domenico Donati

Post by earthnithertoo »

Looking for information on Domenico Donati who was born on Dec. 9, 1882. He left Casaprota, Italy on July 8, 1914 with his wife Olga (Morelli) Donati and sister Giuseppina Donati. They arrived in NY on July 21,1914. They first went to Morgantown, WV then after about a year, Domenico and Olga moved to Michigan, eventually settling in Detroit. Domenico died May 5, 1928. In 1954, Olga married Frank Masi.

I don't know much about Domenico or his parents other than I believe his father's name was Pietro.

Olga was born in Toffia, Italy on June 19, 1885. Her parents were Philippo Morelli and Anna Gentile. She died on Oct 20, 1970.[/size]

Tessa... thank you so much for your reply. And please excuse me for the delay in my response. I am new to the site and didn't expect such a quick reply, if any at all. And have not had much time to spend on the computer due to work. But no more excuses.. I am truly sorry!

I hope to spend some time on this, this weekend. Will let you know how it goes. I'm sure I'll have more questions.

Again thanks.. Marcy

Sister Giuseppina Donati's and Angelo DiPietro's 1915 West Virginia marriage record, left hand image.
Shows her parents as Joseph and Mary Donati.
