Hi Everyone - I am hoping that someone can tell me if I am translating the record for Caterina Rucco correctly -
here is the link: https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/T ... n614845997
So here is what I came up with:
She died on July 29th, 1909 at 11:15
Her parents were Antonio Rucco and Maddalena Bovienzo.
The age is where I am really struggling - does that say 57? I don't think its possible because her parents were not even married until 1874.
Thanks in advance!
Am I translating this correctly?
Re: Am I translating this correctly?
You read the age correctly, 57. It is possible if she were born before their marriage ... Do you have the marriage record of Antonio Rucco and Maddalena Bovienzo?jessicarucco wrote:Hi Everyone - I am hoping that someone can tell me if I am translating the record for Caterina Rucco correctly -

She was the widower of Giovanni Rauso, and the wife of Lorenzo Conte
Thanks in advance!

Re: Am I translating this correctly?
Thank you so much for your help! I figured out the discrepancy - I had Caterina's parents mixed up with one generation younger, but straightened it out. I clearly should have had more coffee today!
