Attilio frezzato italian pow Nottingham 1945

Looking for my sisters father.
Mother was Edna Darbyshire who had a daughter Valerie after Attilio was shipped back to Italy in 1946.
Edna is now 91 and believes Attilio of still alive would be 95.
Her memory of his address is very vague
She remembers. 'Via s. TOMMASO. A1
That's all she can think of.
Just trying to find out what happened to him as letters to her suddenly stopped. Valerie is now 71

I found some Attilio Frezzato, born in Rovigo and in Anguillara Veneta.. I believe that the possible area is the Veneto region...

Ditto on 1922.. instead on 1921 liste di leva I found a Antonio Frezzato, born in Anguilla ra Veneta and residing in Alessandria province:

I am a bit positive that Padova or Rovigo provinces could be the Birth area of Achille Frezzato POW... because no Achille in Alessandria province liste di leva....

Thank you for your help. My Mother did say she remembers him being from the north of Italy.
He was in a pow camp in Nottingham 1945.
He was shipped back when my mom was pregnant with his daughter (Valerie) they corresponded for a time and the letters suddenly stopped. She went on with her life and married my father a Polish pow in a reassignment camp in Derby, and then emigrated to Canada. She kept all this secret until just recently although my sister and I had uncovered the truth over the past 6 years

I am positive abt the area above mentioned by me. But the only option is to contact some Frezzato in the area by facebook or some other social network... abt two months ago I found a italian relative of a IG member, just by facebook...

Thank you so much. I have contacted a few frezzato's on FB . I had a reply by artist Massimilio Frezzato and a Stefano Frezzato who said they have no such relative. I have had no response from other frezzato's (maybe a language barrier) . I will continue my search

I'm not sure if it's a language barrier or maybe people are suspicious as I have received 0 replies from alm the Frezzatos I have contacted on social media. (With the exception of one who was not related)

Maybe both, language barrier and suspect... Or just no one read the message, because they applued the filter...
However I am positive abt Padova /Rovigo areas.... Hoping you can find...

My sister found Attilio's address in her dresser.
He is from Monoslice, Padova region! You are correct:-)
