I know Rosa Sapienza is related to me but Salvatore's father Angelo maybe the son of Joseph Sapienza and his first wife??? I'm not sure...

Baptism of Salvatore Sapienza son of Angelo.
In the date of February 19, 1888 the priest Natale Lavagna (name and last name) baptize a baby born yesterday (so 18 February) from Santa (name) Valenti (surname) and Angelo Sapienza her husband.
The baby was called Salvatore and the godfather was Domenico Nicoloso.

Baptism of Rosa Sapienza daughter of Giuseppe
In the date of April 16, 1887 the priest Giuseppe Grasso (?) baptize a baby born on April 10, from Lucia Distefano and Giuseppe Sapienza her husband.
The baby was called Rosa (Rosam in latin) and the godmather was Maria Roccella (?)
There is an annotation:
on January 28, 1912 Rose Sapienza married Francesco Venasco (son of Vito and Grazia ....Le...(?) from San Pietro Patti. the marriage was celebrated in the same church of the baptism..

In this act I can't understan which was the exact day of birth of Alfio....
On the left side there is the Marriage annotation:
August 17, 1910 he married Rosaria Fazio (daughter of Gaetano and Domenica Rizza or Frizza?) from Augusta (maybe the original town of Rosaria?) in New York City, Church of San Joaquin???

I just found Francesco Sapienza. So I believe I have Rose,Alfio,Frank out of 17 children. I hope I can find them all. :/ this is very hard.

Hi there! I just found Lucia "Proietto" Distefano and Giuseppe (Joseph) Sapienza's Marriage Document! I spoke to my cousin and he told me that this is Joseph's 2nd marriage. I don't know how to download the document but Laura translated it to this...

In the year 1875 day 28 month January at the time 11.55 a.m. in the Comune's hall of Belpasso, open to the public,
in front of me Luigi Dr. Caruso ...(description on his comune's position) are:
1. Sapienza Giuseppe, age 40, farmer, born in Massa annunziata, living in Belpasso, son of Michelangelo (fu = died at the time of this act), residing in Massa annunziata when he was alive, and of Carmela Consoli (died) residing in Massa annunziata during her life
2. Proietto Lucia, age 23, farmer, born in Belpasso, living in Belpasso, daughter of Ignazio (died) living in Belpasso when he was alive, and of Domenica Distefano (died) , living in Belpasso when she was alive
them both asked me to marry them...... etc....etc....

.... And I found another arrival (October 26, 1912) about Pasquale SERAFICA leaving in Belpasso his wife Rosa Sapienza and going to the brothe Vito Sapienza.... ... This is strange... Maybe there was another Rosa Sapienza?? Or this Rosa could be an namesake?
