Can someone extract the pertinent info for me, please, from record #117?

Record #117 dated 10 December 1883 at 11 AM
Before the official appeared Giuseppe D'Angelo, 3o, farmer, residing in Francavilla sul Sinni, to declare that at 2 AM on the 7th of the current month, at the house at Vico Foscolo (?) #1 to Elisabetta Cappuccio, farmer, his wife, living with him was born a male child who they presented to the official and to whom was given the name Luigi.
Witnesses to this act were Vincenzo Morro, 50, and Pasquale Cupparo, 26, both farmers.

Thanks, Tessa!!

I have two more (one birth & I THINK the marriage license for these parents) and a question about the apparent interchangeability of the names Isabella & Elisabetta. I have seen this swap several times in my research, but mostly where an Isabella becomes an Elizabeth after moving to the US. This is the first time I've ever encountered a person (I am fairly certain it's the right person) using one and then the other IN Italy. Is this sort of like my being "Deborah" and "Debi"?

Image (really curious to know what this says in the margin!)

OK...then we'll start with the margin! :-)

Looks to me like a marriage notation: Married on 30 April 1903 with Prospero Lupiano (names that are scribbled are difficult - this is my best guess on the name)

Birth Record #133
Dated 13 December 1881 at 11:30 AM at the town hall
Declarant was Raffaella Bernardo, 60, midwife, to say that at 4AM "yesterday" (the 12th) at the house at Via Savanrola #20, to Elisabetta Cappuccio, wife of Giuseppe D'Angelo, both farmers residing in this town, was born a female child. Given the name Maria Caterina.
Witnesses were Rosa D'Angelo, 40, farmer; and Mariangela Costanza, 60, farmer.
The midwife made the presentation to the official because the husband of Elisabetta Cappuccio was far from the town.

The second image is a marriage record for Giuseppe Maria D'Angelo and Isabella Cappuccio.

Dated 12 February 1881 at 4 PM
Giuseppe, 27, farmer was the son of Luigi and the deceased Caterina Salerno
Isabella, 23, was the daughter of Nicola Maria [Cappuccio] and Teresa Giangreco
Witnesses: Giovanni Lupiano, 40, farmer; and Prospero Ciminelli, 55, farmer.
Writing at the bottom indicates that the banns were published on the 12 and 19 of September last...

This looks like it says Prospero Lupiano?

Are those ages given for their fathers? (The marriage book for 1903 is missing, of course)

Yes, I just found and read the same Pubblicazione! I changed the name in my post before I saw yours... :-)

I'll take a closer look at the record.

Prospero's father Luigi is 60, but something is crossed out. Prospero is 24
Maria Caterina is 22, her father Giuseppe is 50 and her mother is deceased.

Elisabetta's death record is #25 in 1899. She was 42 years old.
There is no indication that her name was anything more than Elisabetta.
Mother and father's names match with the marriage record.
So maybe the marriage clerk made an error in writing her name as Isabella... :-)
