Please help with the sequence of names as printed in the Italian White Pages. Specifically, how do they equate with the sequence of names in America?
For example, here is a telephone listed name in Italy:
MUCERINO CALIENDO VINCENZO
Which is the first name (obviously, Vincenzo)?
Which is the middle one?
The surname?
Is this person's name (as I would write it in the U.S.A.):
Vincenzo Caliendo Mucerino???
or is it Vincenzo Mucerino Caliendo?
Those would be two very different names!
Your answer will help me read the phone listings so I will be able to identify persons with family surnames!
Thank you.

Re: names in italian phone directory
I would say that "Mucerino Caliendo" is the surname.
Re: names in italian phone directory
Thank you Livio.
To be clear, the two names are the one surname?
Here's another example:
AMBROSINO CANDICE ROSA
Is her surname AMBROSINO?
Would I "read" her name as Rosa Candice Ambrosino??
Sorry I'm still confused about this nomenclature, and I don't want to send mail to the wrong persons!!
Thanks,
Noel
