1845 Death Record-Nicola Lanni

Post by Haztek »

I realize that this is a tough one to read. If I have to I will try to get another copy. The film was a negative and hard to get in focus.

Looking for the following:
-to verify the date of the death was reported as 19 January
-Francesco's last name (di ?)
-Andrea's last name
-date Nicola died
-Verify the father's name as Ascanio
-the mother's last name (Caterina ?)
Thanks, jerry

jerry,
this is a tough one, especially the bottom. these are my best ideas:

--the date of death is written "suddetto" so it would be the same date of record, 19 Jan
--cannot read francesco's last name, i wonder if it is d'A......
--maybe andrea's last name is Tulino
--spelling for wife's name looks like Cattarina, so i am wondering if that is also the case for his mother's first name.

I read the date of the record, and date of the death, as March 19, 1845. I see March when I enlarge the record in a photo program.
I think Francesco's last name could be D'Angelo, but can't say for sure.
I agree with Donna that Andrea's last name is Tulino.
I believe Ascanio is correct for the father's name.
Mother's name looks like Cattarina D'Amico to me.

My fingers never type what I am thinking either, Donna, which is why I am always editing my replies. Glad we agree though that the month was March and not January.
