1744 death certificate for Dorothea Romeo

Post by cj11788 »

Hello,

Can someone help me with the below death certificate.

Its for Dorothea Romeo and it looks like her husband is Giuseppe. Are those her parents on the next line? If so any clue on what they are?

Its number 28 on the left side.

Chris

I think it's the name of the priest, even though I can't read it...

There are no parents' names, or age for the deceased, given in this record. She was the wife of Maestro Giuseppe Romeo`(the title Maestro means " master of whatever occupation in which he engaged). The name that is on the next line (Don Antonino Paruta(sp?)) refers to a priest. I see that he administered the Eucharist, or Communion, to the dying woman on Oct 28, 1744. She was buried in the parish church -Nov 4, 1744.
