Help Translating Baptism Record

Post by debbiemfitalian »

Good afternoon!

I need help with a baptism record please. I can pick out some family names, but I can't tell if they are parents, or godparents etc. I would appreciate any help with the details.

Thanks so much !

Debbie

It is a birth, not a baptism
The name is Marcella Candida, not Mariella Candida
Dob: 4 Oct 1870 in Santo Stefano Roero
Father Giovanni Antonio Nizza, 33yo, son of living Giuseppe
Mother Carolina Delpero

Thanks for your help Livio,

Can you please translate the last paragraph? Is it Costa, Matteo? Is he the godfather? And he is of the late Guiseppe?

Thanks again !

Costa Matteo, son of deceased Michele and Costa Giuseppe son of deceased are two witnesses to the declaration of the birth
