I sent you a private message but I don't know if you get an email for one of those I know that you will for this. I think that you are right Saverio is Caterina Procopio's Uncle. When her brother Antonio came to America in 1909 he listed his Uncle Saverio as his residence in Mt Carmel where ...

I am sure that we are probably related in some sense because isca sullo jonio seems like it is probably a small town. But I know that there are two Gidaro families from kulpmont and I believe that you are probably related to the Charles Gidaro family. He still has relatives living in that ...

Andy.
I don't know if this will be any help but my great grandmother was Catherine Procopio. She married Dominick Gidaro in Isca Sullo Ionio and than immigrated to Kulpmont, PA. I am in the middle of researching my family and I found her obituary which stated that she had a brother living in ...

Re: Gidaro from Isca Sull Jonio
I went to the post office this morning and found that they no longer sell international reply coupons. Should I send my letter without one or is there something else that I should get to send? I asked them if they had anything that was an alternate to the coupon and they said "no". Help!!

Re: Gidaro from Isca Sull Jonio
On Dominick Gidaro's WWI draft card and it states that he was in the Italian Army for 2 years. I am going to write the State Archives to see if they can send me his conscription records. I know that I should send an international reply coupon, but do I need to send any type of fee or donation along ...

I left you a message but I found a baby book of my dad's and it lists Elizabeth and Mary Procopio coming to visit him as a baby. I am assuming that they visited him in the hospital. My great granparents were Dominic Gidaro and Elizabeth Procopio. Do you know who Elizabeth or Mary Procopio ...

I haven't been able to get to a FHC because I have been busy with interviews and such for xray school. I just uncovered the connection late on Sunday and wanted to post something on the off chance that someone might have some info. I hope to get to my FHC sometime next month.

Gidaro/Nestico/Feudale/Procopio
I recently found out that my Italian side of the family might meet up randomly with my Polish side of the family. My family was from Isca Sullo Ionio and the surnames are Gidaro/Procopio/Pitello. At least that is what I know right now. My Polish side of the family is Coveleski and my great aunt ...

Italian vs. American
My great grandfather Dominico Gidaro was born in Italy in 1888. He immigrated to the us in 1913 and was naturalized in 1916. After he was naturalized he went back to Italy and married my great grandmother in 1921, then he returned to the US. She followed in 1923 and was never naturalized. My ...

Okay here I go again.
