Hi Fred.
Trying to find out as much as I can. My great grandmother (Mother's side) was Antonia Tittaferrante (born abt 1864). Her father was Alessandro Tittaferrante and her mother, Giulia Giovine. I do not know if she had siblings or anything beyond that.
Please let me know if any of this looks ...

Re: Looking for DiDesidero, Elisio, Tittaferrante and Coglia
My sister-in-law tells me that Ferdinand was born in Avellino, Italy (abt. 1872). She said that his wife, Ninfa Sinatra, was Sicilian. Does this help you at all?
I know this is a forum, but I would rather do this by personal email with you. Any chance of that?

Re: Looking for DiDesidero, Elisio, Tittaferrante and Coglia
Ferdinand would have had his first son in 1896, so this cannot be the same "Fred" in 1900, living with just borders and not his wife or children? How can I find the names of his )Ferdinand's) parents in Italy? Should I write to those addresses for more info? Still not sure which one would work for ...

"King of Italy"? That is hilarious and exactly what I would expect from a Coglianese! This all looks like exactly what I am looking for. Thank you so much for supplying it to me. Do you charge for these services? I could use as much as you can get me.

Re: Looking for DiDesidero, Elisio, Tittaferrante and Coglia
Does this mean that the Coglianese info would be found in Liscia? Where exactly is that? My husband is a Coglianese, somehow related to Frank Sinatra, but without the singing voice! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Italian Passport Records
My great grandmother brought my grandmother to the US from Italy in 1920. I found a copy of my great grandmother's passport, so I'm guessing they were required. Sorry I cannot be of more help on this.

Looking for DiDesidero, Elisio, Tittaferrante and Coglianese
As for the Coglianese surname, I do not have a lot of information on the family yet. I know they are from southern Italy, but am unaware of the exact location. DiDesidero and Tittaferrante are from Gissi and Elisio (or Elisii, Lisio), and Pinto are all relatives from Guardiagrele (Chieti).
