Donald, my great-grandfather was Vincenzo Cefalu and he landed in New Orleans around 1869 from Cefalu, Sicily. He later brought his mother to New Orleans, around 1890. Her name was Rosaria Prestisimone Cefalu. There is a Via Prestisimone in Cefalu, so it must have been a historic name.
