Re: Letter Translation

Marty,

The birth record is for 1832 and the marriage record would be about 1852.

I was so excited that they replied to me within 2 weeks.

Letter Translation

I received a response from Sant'Arsenio with a birth record. I would like to write them another e-mail /letter requesting a copy of the parents' marriage record and the father's birth record. Could anyone help me do that?

Thank you!

Re: 1881 Marriage Certificate - Episcopo & Amabile

Originally thought that too! Cannot find any Luciano's in the Italian records. I find it hard to believe that they he did not have other children! Thank you! Any other thoughts?

1881 Marriage Certificate - Episcopo & Amabile

I have a marriage certificate from 1881. I am trying to decipher the parents of Angelo Episcopo. We have been unable to figure out his father's name... and am not sure if the mother's last name is Pierro or Puzzo? I hope someone can help me out. Thank you so much!

Re: Delayed Birth Certificate

I also have a delayed birth certificate question! I have a copy of a SS application that was completed in 1944. On the application - it has a number next to his date of birth. It almost looks like a birth certificate #. BUT... his birth is not in the NY index for 1880 (or 1881). Is there anyway to l...

Re: Ancestor of Alfredo Zaino

I don't know where you are located, but, if you are in Northern NJ, I have most of the Montefredane records on loan there until late November, early December! I've been researching family from that town also! Wish there were records available before 1809, but from what I understand, nothing! Barbara
