Hi -
Regarding Luigi Zampella and his mother Adelaide, I found the following four records on FamilySearch.org, and believe that they are birth records for Adelaide and three sisters, Adele, Clorinda and Grazia Maria. I'm interested to see what others think...
Thanks!
Joe

Hi Marty -
Thanks for the information. I am going to email the Archivio di Stato di Caserta as you suggested. Is there a fee associated with the request, and if so, how do I remit payment?
Thanks -

Hi Tessa -
Yes, that is correct. Good idea about finding a marriage record in Hoboken. Maybe it will help provide some clues.
Thanks -

Re: Luigi Zampella
Thank you everyone for all of the information. So, it would seem that Luigi's mother, Adelaide, was not married when she gave birth to Luigi when she was 20 years old. I agree that Guiseppe was most likely a cousin of Luigi's, not a brother.

Hi -

Re: Looking for my grandparents 1940 census
Hi suanj -
Thanks for the information for 92 Garden Street on the 1920 census. It's ironic, because Robert Carson's WWI registration card shows a Joseph Carson as his nearest relative, and it shows the address for Joseph as 129 Hudson Street, Hoboken, NJ. I was able to find a 1920 census for Joseph ...

Re: Looking for my grandparents 1940 census
Hi suanj -
I found my great grandfather's (Robert Carson) WWI registration card, dated Sept. 12, 1918. On it, it says he was living at 92 Garden Street, Hoboken, Hudson County, New Jersey. I'm hopeful that he may still have been living there for the 1920 census, but so far have not been able to ...

Hi suanj -
You have provided so much information, it's very much appreciated. I tried clicking on the link for the tree information about Mary Ryan, but was not able to see anything. I don't have an Ancestry.com account, I only have access to the 1940 census since they allowed free searching of it ...

Hi suanj -
Thank you very much for all of the information. Can you explain to me a little more about the information you provided about Mary's death in January of 1931? You indicated the information was "by genealogic tree on ancestry.com". Is there any information about who owns the data for that ...

Re: Looking for my grandparents 1940 census
Hi suanj -
Thanks for the copy of the 1930 census for my grandmother and her family. I am somewhat confused regarding the 1940 census for her that shows her as single. I have a certificate of marriage for her and my grandfather dated April 28, 1938. Like I said in an earlier post, I have been told ...

Re: Looking for my grandparents 1940 census
Hi suanj -
That's very interesting. Yes, that is my grandmother you found, Margaret Carson. Evidently, the information I have regarding when they were married is incorrect. If it is not too much trouble, could you upload a copy of the 1930 census showing her and her family. I am able to obtain the ...
