I did email in Italian to protocollo Comune di Rocca San Giovanni.
By the way my grandmother's surname is Aimola as well. Her and my Grandfather, came from the same town, Rocca. Apparently there are a lot of Aimolas from this same area.

My search is for the Aimola surname. My grandparents were from Rocca San Giovanni. Tommaso and Annie Aimola. Both had same surnames. Married in 1897 in Rocca.

Aimola birth 1899 Rocco San Giovanni
Looking for birth record for Uliana Aimola born February 1899 in or near Rocca San Giovanni. Parents Tommaso Aimola and Annie Aimola. Tommaso born 1872 and Annie born 1876. They were married in 1897.
Uliana maybe spelled differently.

Forgot to mention that my cousin Helen nee Stinziano, Basciano is a widow now and lives in Etobicoke. Her son lives with her. Also, you are correct, Aunt Louise nee Aimola, Stinziano was my mother's sister.
Your maiden name Frieser is not familiar to me. I will ask Helen about that name.

Yes you are a family member! Helen (Stinziano) Basciano is also my first cousin.

I am still trying to do the 'tree'! I don't see a Micheal and Philimena Stinziano in our family tree. Micheal and Philimena are your Grandparents but I can't figure out who everyone is after their daughter, your mother, Marguerite and yourself fit in to our Stinziano's. Help!!!!

I just found out that Louise Stinziano was my mothers aunt. So we must be related Patricia. Well, we might be related! Lets see, Louise Stinziano was born Aimola and was my mom's sister as was another sister, Vera who married Ralph D'Andrea in Toronto I think. There were four sisters altogether ...

My mothers family came from Rocca San Giovanni and immigrated to Peterborough Ontario. Her mothers name was Philomena Scrizzi and her fathers name was Michael Stinziano. Where did the Stinziano names come from? There were a number of that name in Casacalenda, Molise.

My GG Grandmother was Giovanni Aimola and she was married to my GG Grandfather Mauro Giardino and she immigrated to Peterborough in 1906 from Rocca San Giovanni at the age of 50 and died in 1932.
