Thanks, I have been there and already scanned the microfilms for that period, but they are very difficult to read--at least for me. In addition, the copies they scan for you aren't a very high resolution. The records for that period are not in form format--most were entirely handwritten making it ...

My great grandfather emmigrated to the US in 1884. We believe he came from Ferrandina. His name was Frank D'Onofrio and his father's name was John D'Onofrio and his mother Eugenia Fiore. I am wondering if there is any information availablke that would indicate this is indeed the town he came from.
